Recycling Infographic Project
OBJECTIVE: Due May 5th!!!!
Create an 11x17 in poster (horizontal or vertical) that promotes the recycling process.
Although there is still controversy about the prospects of “global warming” there is one thing that we all see every day. This is the amount of trash / garbage that is discarded into our landfills or not in our landfills.
It is a fact that we as a society can do better in our use or reuse of materials.
One way you as a designer can help is to create an info graphic (a visual image such as a chart or diagram used to represent information or data.)
This infographic must promote the process of recycling.
These will be printed and posted around our school. Think about how you can attract peoples attention / hold them there long enough to read your poster and provide enough information to possibly get them to rethink their part in the process.
- This project will take some research to find out some facts and figures to add to your poster.
- You must create sketches in your sketchbooks before working on your computers.
- Drawing attention does not mean throwing a bunch of random bright colors onto a page!
- Take a look at other info graphics based on the same subject (FOR INSPIRATION ONLY!!!)
- You will be graded on content, creativity and well organized design elements.
